SUMMARY
As a College Recruiting Co-Op Intern, you'll help execute HBO's campus recruiting strategy, as well as various client facing aspects of the recruiting process. You'll support the Manager of College Recruiting by coordinating and managing candidate interviews, and helping candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
This role will include assistance with event planning (e.g., campus activities, job fairs and internship program activities).
In this role, you'll report directly to, and receive direction and mentorship from the Manager, College Recruiting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with driving the Campus Recruiting strategy, including identifying creative approaches to Campus Recruiting
• Utilize Brassring - Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in order to track and report on candidate status
• Help hire and build relationships with candidates
• Support planning of office visits, including troubleshooting, and on-site logistical issues (e.g., last minute cancellations, rescheduling, finding interview rooms)
• Coordinate campus events, interview days and onboarding as directed
• Assist with maintaining a calendar of campus and program events
• Help onboard and validate I-9 documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS (course of study, previous experience)
• Interest in career in HR, recruiting, higher education or a related discipline preferred
Education
Rising senior studying HR, Psychology, Communications, Education or related discipline
• Co-op program; must be available to work full-time in the Fall semester
DESIRED SKILLS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Power Point
• Adept at information/applicant tracking or recruiting databases/systems
• English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
• Exceptional customer service focus
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail
• Comfortable working with teams in different office locations, and promoting teamwork
• Confident at quickly adapting to a changing work environment and priorities
