POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide analytical support to Manager, Contract Reporting that will include but not be limited to financial analysis and modeling.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, organize and analyze financial information from various sources, including new media ventures.
- Prepare estimates using various financial models.
- Ensure financial results are reported in conformity with contractual terms.
- Assess reasonableness of accruals and update for actuals as necessary.
- Provide support for ad hoc projects involving financial analysis and modeling.
- Perform quarterly and yearly variance explanations of actuals to budgets.
- Assist in residuals and profit participations audits.
- Position will interact frequently with various departments and positions across the company.
- Other projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 years experience in related field preferred.
- Must be proficient in Excel with solid analytical skills and an understanding of systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
- Ideal candidate will have entertainment and/or audit experience.
