Job Title: Sound Engineer for Full Service Production Company
Location: Holland, MI
Position Type: Full Time
General Description:
We are looking for a Re-Recording Mixer to join our full service production company in Holland Michigan. We service a wide variety of clients with an equally diverse array of projects. From Television Ad Recording, to Feature Film, to Corporate Communications pieces, Music Albums, and Animated and Live Action Mixing, we can cover just about anything in the world of Audio.
And in order to meet these challenges, our Re-Recording Mixers must have the necessary experience and skill sets to supply each of our clients with the highest quality of work, no matter how large or small the project. Our Mixers maintain excellent communication with clients, talent, and their co-workers. And they understand the critical importance of patience and attention to detail.
Though we are seeking to fill a full time position, but prefer to work on a freelance relationship basis at the outset of any new relationship.
Desired Skills and Experience
Inquiring Mixers should have at least 5 years of Mixing and Recording experience. They must have experience working with Pro Tools 9 (or above) with the following types of projects: Corporate (Product Promos, Brand Development, Tradeshows), Television (Animated, Reality, & Scripted), TV & Radio Ads, and Feature Film.
They must also have experience in the following areas: Production Sound Mixing, Recording talent as individuals and in groups, Sound Designing, Editing (dialogue, music, and effects), ADR Recording, and Digital Exports.
And most importantly, they must have a real passion for the work they do. We pride ourselves on our facility of skilled professionals who find their craft challenging and fulfilling.
Key Skills include:
Ability to manipulate and work sound for the moving image
Excellent aural skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Good organizational skills
