The Green Lifestyle Film Festival (GLFF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, grassroots organization whose intention is to create a new vision for films and all media.
The Video Marketing Coordinator will manage our YouTube, Vimeo, and other video-sharing sites as well as work on our video SEO. Reports to the Social Media Manager.
Duties:
-Download video submissions from independent producers, citizen journalists, other outside parties, as well as in-house productions, and upload these selections to video-sharing sites.
-Set up Green Lifestyles with the YouTube for Nonprofits program.
-Work closely with the video production team and the Green Lifestyles TV team to implement strategies for publishing effective video content to optimize search engine visibility.
-Maintain the Green Lifestyles YouTube video channel, linkage to the Green Lifestyles website, and other related sites.
Desired qualifications:
-Professional experience with social media sites, as well as a strong social media presence
-Working knowledge of SEO
-Project management
-Leadership abilities
-Strong communication skills
-Strong organization skills
-A passion for green living, or a desire to learn
-Experience in media production helpful, but not required
This is a remote position, however, occasional attendance at our local events is a big plus.
Candidate should be prepared to commit to 10-15 hours per week for a duration of ONE semester minimum.
