You'll contribute your creative business development strategy to help us continue this upward trajectory.
We're looking for a sharp, hungry, forward-thinking Business Development Manager who has a vision for how they would build a development/sales team, as well as the processes to support such a team. It's a major bonus if you aren't afraid to wear multiple hats in a small but rapidly growing operation.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Develop potential business deals by locating, contacting, and nurturing relationships with prospective partners.
- Actively seek new business opportunities and client leads by attending networking events, creating outreach windows, and growing a rolodex of local and national connections.
- Build out drafts of pitch decks, marketing collateral, and budgets for potential clients.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing contracts, and integrating contract requirements with company processes.
- Strategize growth hacking operations that will enhance our business development and overall growth.
- Lead company development brainstorms with the creative team.
- Be the first member of the department and potentially oversee the hiring and growth of the sales/business team. This includes attending college job fairs, as well as recruiting interns and development associates.
Requirements:
- Past experience in business development strategy.
- Past experience working with video or a video production team.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Pro-active and collaborative spirit.
- Ability to work full-time in Brooklyn, NY.
