Greater Talent Network is seeking a part time, paid, Intern. This internship provides experience with many facets of the speakers bureau industry and is a great opportunity for someone interested in a career in Marketing. Candidates should excel in a fast paced work environment, be adaptable to changing environments and be highly organized and detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills are imperative to being successful in this position.
Job Description:
• Assist the Marketing team with various Digital Marketing tasks, projects, and campaigns
• Provide administrative support to the Marketing Dept that includes updating/organizing media kits, website content, and other marketing collateral
• Help with various graphic design projects (i.e. drafting/editing documents in indesign, designing/editing graphics in Photoshop, etc.)
• Research for content creation and social media
• Help brain-storm ideas and engage in weekly campaign strategy meetings
• Other responsibilities as needed
Candidates Must:
• Have a strong interest in the Marketing, Event Planning, Sales, or Entertainment Industry
• Be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with: Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign; Copywriting; popular Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, etc.) a strong plus
• Able to work independently, effectively prioritize and multitask numerous responsibilities
• Strategic, resourceful and has excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to demonstrate strong judgment, professionalism and poise under pressure
• Strong understanding of/strong desire to learn Digital Marketing and Content Marketing techniques
• ''No job is too small'' mentality
Candidates with strong writing skills are encouraged to provide writing samples; candidates with graphic design experience are encouraged to provide portfolios (not required for consideration but definitely a plus). Experience with Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Current Events, Event Planning, or experience on your college Programming Board will be highly regarded.
