PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER/ACCOUNTANT
Immediate opening for a mid-size television production company located in the SFV.
Position requires 20-24 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
Duties include general ledger entries, prepare financial statements, verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts, reconciles and balances accounts, compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business, completes records to or through trial balance.
Education:
Accounting degree
Skills and Experience Required:
• High proficiency with QuickBooks
• Minimum 2 years experience with Entertainment industry in an accountant position essential.
• Background must be clear of any convictions
• Ability to work on own; set own deadlines
• Good communication and people skills
• Professional demeanor
• In-depth understanding of debits and credits
• Extremely detail oriented
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting, job cost accounting, and internal controls
