Position Summary
Lead consumer-facing CRM efforts across Gravitas Ventures' portfolio of films. Utilize a data-intensive approach to drive bottom line revenue by developing strategies and executing programs that activate and grow the Gravitas database. In particular, the individual in this position will be a change agent, leading initiatives to revolutionize the way Gravitas thinks about CRM and Loyalty, leading a transformation to a true lifecycle-based marketing organization. The ideal candidate is analytically focused with a strong background in and passion for email marketing. This role is responsible for the following 4 key functions within CRM:
Leadership
• Develop and maintain CRM overall objectives, strategies and tactics to drive revenue.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), manage performance/reporting and communicate results to leadership team
• Stay on top of industry trends and new capabilities in customer lifecycle management
Acquisition
• Identify timely and relevant opportunities across all touch points (tv, web, mobile, social) to engage users, and promote registration.
• ''Own'' the user experience throughout the registration process, along with intercepts, sweepstakes, preference management, events, affiliate, ecommerce and other opportunities to initiate relationship with viewers
• Test and optimize acquisition funnel, while improving each stage of consumer journey from sign up to superfan
Engagement, Retention & Monetization
• Harness CRM data to refine retargeting strategy, cross-device and lookalike models, while increasing relevancy of media to potential viewers
• Pursue data partnerships and programmatic buying / selling opportunities across display, video, mobile, native and connected devices
• Oversee the development and growth of the email marketing program, driving increased engagement via CRM-focused segmentation and personalization, leading to an increase in revenue.
Data and Analysis
• Create a suite of reports and insights
• Define, monitor and visualize success metrics, generating easily digestible executive reports with actionable recommendations
• Drive measurable results, regularly assessing key KPIs
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) & 5+ years of CRM and/or loyalty marketing experience
• Intimate knowledge of direct marketing best practices in the digital ecosystem: customer acquisition, email marketing, retargeting, lookalike modeling, multivariate testing, content personalization, advanced segmentation, SEO, SEM, SMO, and database management experience.
• Working knowledge of the programmatic ad tech landscape: DSPs, SSPs, Ad Servers, and other key players in the Lumascape, and familiarity with the technical underpinnings of a digital CRM program: ETLs, BI tools, tag implementation, double blind ID matching, cross device user identification, etc.
• Comfortable buying & selling media across video, mobile web, mobile app and connected device platforms. Versatility to tackle both sell-side and buy-side challenges on a daily basis.
• Proven leader with entrepreneurial spirit and extraordinary communications, presentation and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and independent, with the ability to influence others without direct control
• Experience with P&L forecasting and digital and traditional direct marketing channels
• Strong analytical skills, skills with the proven ability to scrutinize large amounts of data and turn it into actionable initiatives (including both quantitative and qualitative data), familiarity with testing methodology and desire to drive results through analytics
• Ability to be strategic and tie initiatives to high level business objectives, then roll up sleeves to drive flawless and timely execution and monitoring of performance with both internal and external teams (vendors for email data capture, CRM, modeling, etc.)
• A high degree of care for the customer experience
• Interest in film, media and entertainment
