The Granada Theater is hiring a full-time Lighting Designer to join our team.
Job description below:
- Working with heights and climbing truss safely is essential to this position.
- Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs and to assist with gear being loaded in and set up for each show.
- Must have 2 years experience working lights either for a venue or on a tour.
- Must be proficient in modern lighting consoles (specifically the Road Hog 4) and modern moving light programming (Mac 700, Mac 101's, Elation Platinum Beams).
- Must have some repair/maintenance experience with troubleshooting and repairing lighting instruments.
- Must have knowledge of all lighting communication protocols including DMX and Ethernet systems.
- Being a team player and a willingness to go above and beyond to make the show happen goes an extremely long way.
