We are seeking a Marketing Intern who has an interest in the field of Culture Marketing and Events. We work in all areas of culture - including: Entertainment, Music, Art and Fashion. The company is fast paced, with a cutting edge client and we are looking for energetic, self motivated individuals who want to gain experience in the area of Culture Marketing. You must be computer savvy and have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a faced paced environment, in addition to knowledge of Los Angeles area.
General Job Description:
• Help with research in entertainment, music and all areas of culture.
• Administrative duties including assisting with daily outreach requests, marketing reports, press clippings and contact database management.
• Maintaining and keeping proper records of inventory including supplies, FedEx, product, etc.
• Assist with deliveries and event setup. Some lifting and moving of equipment/infrastructure as needed.
• Attend/Work various events with the Relationship Managers or staff as needed.
• Researching and identifying new events, opinion leaders and industry areas of opportunity.
• General office assistance with answering phones, covering desks and other office related duties.
• Following basic office policies and procedures as outlined by HR and found in the employee handbook.
An ideal candidate should have:
• Ability to work 20 hours per week
• An interest in marketing specifically in the areas of entertainment and music.
• You must be computer savvy (MS Office) with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of social media, Google alerts and press searching.
• Ability to conduct themselves professionally in all settings.
• Knowledge of the entertainment/music industry is a plus.
• Possess a strong work ethic and strong organization skills.
