Position: Project Manager - Commercial

Summary -
Gorilla Pictures, LLC is an industry leading and fast growing film production company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Los Angeles, California. Our growth has been fueled by demand in the commercial and entertainment film production markets. We are expanding our team, in support of an exciting growth plan, to include an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial projects.
Position Primary Responsibilities -
This position will manage and lead the administration of diverse commercial film production projects. The role is predominantly production related but will include some business development and administrative support. The incumbent will create project proposals and budgets and will execute project deliverables and maximize overall job profitability.
Position responsibilities include:
• Support Sales Manager by attending client meetings.
• Create project budgets and receive approval from the Production Manager.
• Draft project proposals with Sales Manager that clearly outline scope, deliverables, fees and payment terms.
• Notify Sales Manager of opportunities to upsell and increase sales after project commencement (ie. Additional needs, scope change orders…).
• Perform invoicing activities and support payment and accounts receivable efforts.
• Build production plans and teams and execute project deliverables under project budgets
• Assist in all phases of bidding, scheduling and production (development, preproduction, production, post production).
• Track and manage assets and client deliverables, from capture and creation through delivery.
• Manage day-to-day client requests, purchases and interaction with all third parties, including vendors and collaborators.
• Coordinate travel and shipping of equipment.
• Maintain and build strong working relationships with production resources.
• Uphold Gorilla quality standards and deliver purposeful products.
Desired Skills & Experience
Education:
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Film Production or Fine Arts preferred.
Work Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years of successful film production management experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing new profitable business relationships.
• Demonstrated experience in high-growth, innovative company environments.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Leadership, creativity and vision.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the film production and film service industries.
• Technical film production skills.
• Broad knowledge of sales and marketing.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
