Intern - Production Office
Go Team EntertainmentLos Angeles, CA
Part Time Unpaid Internship
Interns will have the opportunity to observe and participate in all facets of running an independent production company with complete transparency. This is a unique opportunity to pull back the curtain and see exactly what goes into producing a successful web series, a branded travel series, and pitching TV projects. We are currently in post-production on a third season of our series. We are also developing an LGBT lifestyle blog and will be producing a number of live events, including a web series festival in Brooklyn. We are committed to personalizing each intern's experience to suit their interests and talents. Duties may include script coverage, creating social content, researching and compiling talent and media lists, targeted social media outreach, assisting in basic administrative tasks and possible positions working on set. Other production opportunities include assisting with the shooting, editing and promotion of promotional content on our YouTube channel. Interns should plan to be present 1-2 days a week in our Beachwood office.
Additional Comments: Go Team Entertainment is a full service production company and public relations firm specializing in new media. The company was founded to produce the critically-acclaimed LGBT web series ''EastSiders,'' which was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series and has made distribution deals with Netflix, Logo, Hulu, Amazon, Vimeo, Fullscreen and Wolfe Video. In 2014 Go Team expanded its operations to help brands, content creators, crowdfunding campaigns and traditional companies make their mark on the web, offering consulting and PR services to web content creators. Projects in development include an independent feature film, a third season of EastSiders and several TV projects. Go Team Entertainment also produces Brooklyn Web Fest, an annual film festival and content creator conference at the Made in NY Media Center by IFP.
Looking for passionate applicants that want to do more than just sit at a desk reading scripts. The ideal intern will have creativity, drive and the ability to work independently.
