Global Inheritance is seeking a self-starter, hard worker, and problem solver to join our team as a Lead Project Manager. Be an integral component of the behind-the-scenes and on-site development of unique experiences at major music festivals and events around the country. Your efforts will contribute to our nonprofit organization's mission to inspire and educate others on sustainability issues.
*The Organization*
Born in 2002, Global Inheritance is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that develops experiences which educate individuals about global sustainability challenges and inspires them to take positive action.
Our original initiatives activate people to invest in making a difference. Global Inheritance develops a powerful connection between the individuals and the issues, tailoring every program to fit the diverse audiences we speak to around the world. We believe in influencing the influencers, which is why our initiatives have been featured at major events across the U.S. and internationally. These massive gatherings have served as a launching pad for our creative programming - both helping events to reduce their environmental footprint and inspiring millions.
Past events include :: Coachella + ESPN X Games + Super Bowl + US Open of Surfing + Teen Choice Awards + EDC + Lollapalooza + more
By employing technology, the arts, and experiential learning, the organization generates excitement and inspires people to act responsibly and become forward-thinking leaders within their community.
*The Position*
The ideal Project Manager must be an experienced professional with strong hands-on experience planning and executing events and programs that will continue to represent Global Inheritance as a leading organization in event sustainability.

*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
Manage multiple projects / events concurrently
Event production & coordination (from preliminary planning to execution onsite)
Client liaison
Designing & writing project proposals
Drafting budgets
Volunteer & staff coordination
Creative ideation, market research, and program building
*Ideal candidate is/has:*
Passionate about sustainability & events
Demonstrated project management skills to oversee multiple projects with varying priorities
Experience in event production / nonprofit management / sustainability & the environment / music, sports & entertainment / experiential marketing
Nimble approach and adaptable to change in a fast paced & multi-genre environment
Highly energetic & self-motivated
Ability to bring creative event ideas to life which support the organization's overall mission + goals
Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail
Ability to recognize problems and take appropriate actions towards solutions
Collaborates well with clients / partners / vendors to make things happen
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to manage a significant workload and adhere to tight deadlines
Must possess superior organization, prioritization and time management skills
Self-directed, amiable, and composed under pressure
Strong work ethic and passionate about achieving results
Ability to work independently and follow through on objectives and direction with minimal supervision, in high profile situations
Ability to also manage a team and work closely & collaboratively with others
Experience in dealing with large crowds and diverse audiences
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 pounds) as directed by event needs
Ability to travel and work outside of normal business hours due to event schedules; up to 30% travel
Bonus: photo / video documentation skills, Adobe suite proficiency, good aesthetic and visual eye for staging programs
