Key responsibilities
Le ads the team of Games Art to ensure delivery of game concept design and design guidelines.
• Designs Game layout, Game art for environments, characters and other game elements as per game play requirement
• Explores and researches for new game ideas, tools and techniques
• Collaborates closely with Games Design & cross functional teams to set and maintain quality standards
• Project management for games through planning, scheduling & delivery phases.
• Creates, deciphers & evaluates Game’s design to make the game entertaining and exciting through appropriate visual elements.
• Reviews prototypes & provides direction to the team.
• Works with Marketing team for branding in marketing events.
• Effective delivery of Games Art and source files
• Adheres to schedule and processes, guidelines and checklists
• Ensures the quality of source files and deliverables
• Conveys & shares ideas and formalizes concepts clearly
Qualifications & Requirements
• 5 Years’ experience in Game Art
• Expert knowledge about Tools (3DS Max, Photoshop) for Graphic Design and Games Development
• Knowledge in Unity an advantage
• Proficient in all aspects of game art such as stylizations, visual communication/feedback, animation timing etc.
• Knowledge of what would make the game look good, appealing or adds fun-factor to it
• Understanding of trends in the art and gaming industry
• Analytical skills and ability to communicate
• Visualization skills and layout sense
• Coaches & shares knowledge with team
• Ability to work to short deadlines
• Prototyping ideas
Education & Training Requirement:
• Degree in BFA or Degree or diploma in Design/ Visual Arts
Hours/ Schedule:
• Flexible work hours (For a 40/work hour week)
