Key responsibilities
The main purpose of the Program Manager is to develop and maintain cyclical IFEC program updates and GUI content for each Airline Customer identifying work scope, schedules, milestones, and internal and external team member responsibilities to ensure the integrity of GEE’s deliverables. By doing so the role will involve the need to facilitate the workflow and co-ordination with global offices and help resolve any issues that will ensure GEE maintains excellent service delivery, continue to improve and work as efficiently as possible between our Mumbai team and any other relevant locations. They should monitor timelines for guidance, overseeing these across the end-to-end process and step in where necessary to ensure on time and accurate delivery, escalating as necessary to management.
• Handle metadata operations for Key Programs
• Coordinate with all internal and external groups for related programs.
• Calculate and distribute internal working deadlines for related programs, apply to service delivery tools and monitor.
• Support the metadata and client operations teams with any day to day issues
• Identify operational issues and elevate to the appropriate personnel for solution
• Manage the workload to ensure deadlines are met on time.
• Facilitate and chair weekly meeting with:
• Metadata Team leaders
• Metadata teams
• Global Client Operations Managers/Assistants for progress and reporting
This involves:
• Gathering and setting agenda items
• Ensuring meeting notes are taken and updated
• Leading meetings and raising discussion points after analysis of closed cycles
• Encouraging knowledge sharing including client issues across teams
• Root Cause Analysis of commonly occurring issues for continual improvement
• Capturing and passing on internal quality issues and customer complaints
Qualifications & Requirements
• 5 years minimum in the in-flight industry. Previous experience in metadata is preferred.
Education & Training Requirement:
• Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Project Management or similar
• Fluent in English language and writing
Hours/ Schedule:
• Flexible work hours (For a 40/work hour week)
