Role Description
To provide Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) Entertainment metadata entry requirements into Content Management Systems (CMS) via online portals and to then validate content loads onsite as required by account and Hardware Integrator.
The role requires a split level of computer literacy combined with a technical knowledge of digital media formats and GUI navigation. This role is of key importance for the testing, quality control and release of a digital product to the AVOD entertainment market. Attention to detail and QC processes/reporting for digital media is key in ensuring a quality product is delivered on time as per existing expectations depending on client/account. The role will be based primarily at GEE offices with localised travel for part of the month for the QC and validation process on site.
Key Responsibilities
• Metadata management
• Co-ordination with AVOD/GUI Team for timely delivery of metadata documentation
• Video/Audio filename creation (to integrator spec) and supply to internal and external departments
• Metadata Management (data entry/manipulation/validation)
• Image processing using Photoshop (crop/resize/colour mode/file format)
• Input of metadata to online Content Management Systems
• Structure/arrangement of GUI via Content Management Systems including disclaimer/ident/advert/promo placement
• Creation of Status Sheets/CTRs/SDS files (Excel format)
• Quality Control of all published data
• Full testing and reporting back of any issues to the relevant team
• QC and entry of all metadata for GEE clients

Qualifications
• Educated to A’level or equivalent
• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Experience in using MS Office package especially Word, Excel and Outlook
