GEE Client Services division is a world leader in providing content services to airlines world-wide. The division is responsible for the overall IFE Strategy, Procurement, Licensing, and delivery of content and content services to its airline clients. This division works closely with the airlines, studios, distributors - and internally with the Operations and Metadata divisions, to ensure that media is delivered to spec and on time.
Key responsibilities
The Language Services Production Assistant is responsible for assisting with all aspects of creating various subtitle files. This involves receiving incoming orders and recording data for various reports. Receiving and coordinating raw materials for the creation of subtitle files are also some supporting roles.
More specifically, the job entails:
• Coordinate and prepare incoming orders for subtitle technicians
• Record incoming orders and assets for external vendors, administrative team, and subtitle technicians.
• Manage multiple lists that update the company regarding the status of orders and the department’s performance. Types of lists include:
• Weekly updates
• Monthly updates
• Asset rejections
• Live order status updates
• Yearly vendor work order reports
Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills – with the ability to clearly communicate with subtitle techs and assistant techs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational/administrative skills including writing, basic excel and proofreading.
• Detail oriented.
• The ability to take initiative and strive to deliver an exceptional product and service.
Areas of interest and intrinsic competencies
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software
• Highly organized; multitasking skills essential
• Able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Attention to details
