Job Description – Governance, Compliance & Security Systems and Services (GCS)
Title - IT Analyst – GCS – Infrastructure Systems
Description
The (GSC) Analyst role is to work on addressing all legal and regulatory requirements for all infrastructure systems within the responsibility of the IT Organization. This includes compliance to all IT policies ensuring infrastructure systems are developed and maintained in accordance to the policies and our legal and regulatory requirements. This role is also responsible for working with our auditors internal and external and providing all data and information requests from all our infrastructure systems.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the compliance program to achieve legal obligations and business goals by prioritizing initiatives and assessing the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies.
• Audit existing compliance practices across the organization; isolate potential risks or liabilities and develop mitigation plans.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and plans to various business and IT teams responsible for the company infrastructure systems regarding technology- and industry-specific laws.
• Collaborate with the IT leaders, security, Infrastructure, applications, service management, human resources department, and legal counsel to ensure full legal compliance of company policies, procedures, forms, notices, and materials.
• Work closely with the GCS IT Director to develop and coordinate a compliance schedule tailored to the applicable regulations.
• Participate in preparation and delivery – or administrate deliverance of – compliance training and awareness to all staff members, contractors, interns, and consultants.
• Perform all user administration add/change/delete for all infrastructure systems per the required SLA’s ensuring segregation of duties.
• Perform Quarterly and other time frame user access audits for IT leaders and CIO reviews.
• Maintain a strong awareness of legislative changes or amendments to ensure ongoing and future compliance; conduct yearly audits.
• Advocate company’s compliance policies via regular written and in-person communications with company IT and business teams.
• Work closely with IT department on corporate technology development to fully enforce the processes and policies throughout the IT infrastructure systems landscape.
Knowledge & Experience
• 5 years direct work experience in an IT governance, and compliance working with internal and external auditors focused on infrastructure systems and security controls.
• 5 years direct experience in LAN, and Desktop systems administration and services including user administration function of add/change/delete of infrastructure systems.
• Experience as an administrator with O365, LAN, AD, ADFS, Exchange, Virus protection, backup and recovery, and other LAN and core infrastructure systems and services.
• 5 years’ experience working in the IT industry and Public companies.
• 5 years’ experience in IT governance and compliance assessment and conducting audits within infrastructure and security systems and services.
• Proven experience developing, performing, submitting audit and compliance reports to governing bodies, legal entities, and/or external authorities.
• Experience in planning, organizing, and developing information technology policies, procedures, and practices.
• Direct experience and knowledge of local and federal information technology laws, including SOX, MPAA, PCI.
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
• Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving compliance issues.
• Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including, infrastructure systems, IT service management systems, and privacy-based solutions.
• Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems, including Oracle EBS, Hyperion, Cloud Services, enterprise level hardware and storage.
• Understanding of computer systems and integration capabilities.
• Superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
