Key responsibilities
The HR Business Partner will be working under the direction of the Human Resources Director. This individual will be responsible for proactively leading all aspects of strategic and tactical HR support that aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. In addition to providing guidance to your internal partners/clients in fields such as talent management, Employee Relations, HR metrics, training & development, and legal compliance, this role will also play an important part in building our HR functional expertise for the business. The HR Business Partner must understand the business beyond the HR function and influence the overall organization to ensure superior operations and business outcomes.
More specifically:
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group and Senior Leaders to develop solutions, programs and policies
• Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
• Provide recruitment support and guidance
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions)
• Work closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
• Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation
• Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers
• Assist employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
• Identify training needs for business units and create individual development plans in conjunction with line managers
• Evaluation and monitoring the success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
Qualifications
• BA degree or equivalent required in Business Administration, Human Resources; MBA in Human Resources preferred
• HR consulting and workforce planning experience
• Prior experience navigating in a multi divisional matrix company structure
• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in building highly effective organizations and teams, processes and infrastructure preferred
• System experience - Oracle, Taleo

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in a fast paced, multi-tasking, aggressive and dynamic organization along with significant influence/negotiation skills
• Must have outstanding interpersonal, influence and communication skills, both verbal and written
