Description
HRIS Implementation Specialist | Global Eagle Entertainment Inc.
This position will report directly to the Director, Global Total Rewards and is part of the global HR support team. This individual serves as the key owner of the implementation of the new HRIS. Working in conjunction with the subject matter experts and wider HR team members, documents HR processes globally and collates templates utilized in each process. Working with the IT team and external consultants drives the transition from the current Oracle platform to the new cloud based platform. The HRIS Implementation Specialist ensures accuracy of data migrated, testing of new system, specification of reporting and identification of process improvements.
Key responsibilities
Documentation of HR Processes
• Documents all HR processes and consolidates for global utilization
• Identification of local legislative requirements impacting various processes and procedures
• Develops standardized processes and obtains agreement from all HR team members on process
• Working with wider HR team develops templates to support processes where necessary
Data
• Ensures accuracy of all data migrated from current HRIS to new HRIS
• Assists will preparation of data for migration.
• Resolves any issues relating to data
Production Support
• Supports all business needs that relate to the HR system.
• Researches and resolves HR system errors, unexpected results, or process flaws.
• Performs scheduled activities, recommended solutions, and alternate methods to meet requirements/deadlines.
• Configures and develops new system to accommodate additional business requirements
• Documents all system configuration for continuity purposes
Project Management
• Drives the implementation from inception to completion
• Monitors and tracks progress of the implementation utilizing suitable tools
Training
• Develops company user guides for HR system.
• Provides training to HR system users and administrators, as needed.
Individual Development
• Maintains awareness of current HR system trends with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent classes or experience in Human Resources, Business Analytics, or similar field.
• Passion for customer service
• Demonstrate project management experience
• Functional and technical experience
• Previous HRIS implementation project lead experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
• Experience with multiple HCM, payroll and/or financial applications is a plus.
