Client Account Manager | Global Eagle Entertainment Inc.
Key Responsibilities
This position represents the main link between each of our clients and all GEE Operations, Finance & Technical Departments (UK and Overseas), including overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects relating to each client.
Strong relationships with both the key contributors of the GEE group, alongside the client is essential in order that delivery of all products and services exceeds expectations and are well executed.
Continuously monitoring customer satisfaction and reviewing customer feedback is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of quality & customer satisfaction.
More specifically, the job entails to:
• To play a key role for the business in managing a portfolio of accounts from initial take-on through to on-going relationship management.
• To act as a go-to expert for any client queries or issues and will work diligently to resolve these. You will engage with stakeholders throughout the business to coordinate multiple client projects that will meet and exceed client expectations.
• Provide regular creative and innovative solutions and ideas with support from appropriate areas of the business i.e. creative, content, marketing, technology.
• To conduct regular research on airlines fleet, systems, current situation and future plans to provide expert knowledge to the customer with insights on industry and technology developments with support from key areas of the group.
• Through regular calls & site visits, ensure each client within your remit has all their requirements fulfilled, and maintain a clear view of their current situation and future plans.
• To build a close relationship with each of your clients, to gain a trust and understanding with the airline, to be able to identify gaps in the clients offering in order to offer best advice and solutions which are cost effective, internally and for the client, and provide an effective and a differentiated product.
• To review and manage movie, tv programming & audio programming selection charts for each of your clients, ensuring they are within budget, relevant to the clients’ customer profile and contributes to any output deals in place.
• To track all completed Short Programming Charts, liaising daily with AVOD, US Lab, Transfer Tower to ensure all Charts are accurate and up to date, adhering to internal and OEM deadlines.
• Maintain a good understanding of each client’s budget, to ensure that the most suitable / relevant titles, programmes, concepts etc... are offered for review and selection.
• Collate cyclical flight level statistics for each client’s, regularly reviewing each client’s flights schedules and fleet to ensure the studios are furnished with the most accurate flight data.
• Prepare Quotes, Invoice Requests, and Cost/Sales Analysis.
• Maintain and update Client Profile Documents on a regular basis to ensure the needs of all clients are met and each internal department has the most up to date information when researching and selecting media / creating concepts.
Sales Planning:
• To carry out Renewal appointments where required.
• Seeks input from stakeholders and utilise in planning for both the Business and Client needs.
• Facilitates the development of new products and services in line with Business Strategy and Client needs.
• Preparing Client Proposals with the input and inclusion of key GEE personnel, in line with Sales and Marketing Process.
• Supports the VP of Sales in developing the Sales Plan for the clients.
• Up-selling services and products
Qualifications
• Diploma;
• At least 2 years experience in a client services focused role
• Technical/specific skills;
• Etc.

• An effective communicator and an efficient problem solver
• Able to work under pressure and always meet deadlines
• Able to provide/supply constructive criticism/feedback on suggested concepts and media programming
• Knowledge of both analogue and AVOD systems, their capabilities and main functionality
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects that are strategic in nature and global in scope
• Confidence in delivering presentations comfortably and successfully to large audiences, including up to board level
• Confident working with Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables and Windows Vista
• Understand client objectives and requirements
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, and generate new business
• Manage a variety of accounts whilst delivering an excellent service.
• An ability & to research and plan, being able to deliver to strict deadlines; capable of working successfully under pressure
• Able to construct and write business proposals
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels
• Recognise and proactively overcome challenges
