Key responsibilities
Supervised by the development manager, the job incumbent will develop a framework that will be used by applications and games. The developer will work in an open-minded team that collaborates regularly and interacts with development teams, graphic artists as the Quality Assurance department.
More specifically, the person will be required to:
• analyze project specifications and provide suggestions relevant to the project.
• work on existing applications and games for maintenance.
• solve problems – alone or in a team – due to technical limitations for certain platforms.
• may create new product or work on tools/framework.
• estimate deadlines.
• carry out preliminary tests.
• carry out necessary adjustments following recommendations from quality assurance.
• update documentation throughout development.
Qualifications
• Minimum of college or university degree in computer science
• C or object-oriented programming experience require for at least 2 years.
• Experience in Windows and Linux development
• Knowledge of Visual C or GCC
• Understanding of Android development life cycle is an asset.
• Experience on Unity is an asset.
• Basic experience in web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP) is an asset.
• Bilingual (French/English) spoken and written for Montreal office.
