General Summary of the Position
This Account Executive will be responsible for engaging with marketers and advertising agencies to sell our industry leading airline and executive club advertising and sponsorships. Our advertising inventory is a collection of partnerships with airlines like Delta, American, Southwest, Virgin, Etihad, and more. We reach an extremely affluent professional who frequently travels and has a high HHI. In this role, the account executive will have and build relationships with key client direct and agency decision makers and planners, be able to showcase the GEE Media value proposition, and sell world class advertising campaigns.
Key responsibilities
• Establishes productive, professional relationships with agency and client direct marketers
• Manage a sales territory with in the Midwest, USA
• Bring on new advertisers to the GEE ad platform
• Manage and maintain an updated pipeline and communicate to leadership
• Execute key customer facing meetings on a weekly basis
• Prospect new business partners while managing a strategic account focused list
• Develop and build campaign proposals and sponsorships to bring to market
• Manage contacts and communications on Salesforce
• Develop and build customer facing power points that tell the GEE story and communicate our value proposition
• Understand the airline In-flight and executive club experience and consult marketers on how best to engage with those consumers
• Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
• Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.
• Engages with other teammates throughout the globe to strategize and scale new opportunities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in related field
• Minimum of 5 years of strategic sales experience in an advertising environment
• Strong and deep relationships with advertising agency decision makers in the mid west region
• Strong relationships with airline partners is preferred
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Must be computer proficient using Microsoft Office software and other software products
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good decision making abilities a must
• Flexibility to support 24 / 7 operations and different time zones for client relationships
