SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
Global Access is looking for an experienced Accounting Lead with QuickBooks Enterprise expertise to work under the direction of the President and off-site Controller. This is a hands on position that is responsible for all aspects of the accounting workflow, reporting and analysis for our company services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Below are some of the standard Accounting functions that this job requires to be performed:
• Maintain QuickBooks Enterprise accounting system
• Implement and monitor day to day department activities and all financial transactions
• Lead and execute Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing
• Process a high volume of complex invoicing involved with time-sensitive deadlines
• Verify financial transactions to reimbursable expenses
• Analyze data and present findings and recommendations
• Clearly and concisely communicate current processes, issues encountered and ideas
• Drive standard documentation of operating policies and procedures
• Reconcile company and cash disbursement activities
• Execute detailed project plans
• Maintain client/vendor relationships
• Implement departmental cash flow projections and accounting reports
• Various ad hoc reporting, as necessary
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting or related functions
• Experience with a team oriented office culture, leading teams of at least two people
• Positive attitude with strong enthusiasm and passion for the company brand
• Experience leading projects and delivering results
• Experience with entertainment industry is strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate status, issues and risks
• Strong ability to handle and effectively prioritize multiple competing priorities and requests
• Strong ability to develop relationships across teams, seek information and problem solve in order to effectively drive and innovate
processes
• Experience with QuickBooks Pro or Enterprise version 15 or higher
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The Accounting Lead is responsible for the supervision of all internal accounting staff, when applicable.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, particularly around month-end and year-end closing and peak billing periods.
TRAVEL
0-25% travel is expected for this position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Expert in QuickBooks Enterprise functions
3. Any combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Entertainment Industry experience.
2. Knowledge of immigration related visa processing services.
