Gideen, a revolutionary new music company is looking to hire a Public Relations intern for a trial period of 4 weeks.
After this trial period of 4 weeks, if the Gideen team agrees that the chosen intern has proven their reliability, professionalism, and dedication to the company and what we do, we will discuss the possibility of transitioning the internship into a full-time, paid position.
The internship does not require extensive experience, but a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations is preferred.
Candidate must be professional, reliable, organized, have a positive attitude and be self-motivated.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
We are looking for a fresh, extremely personable and outgoing candidate to become a member of our growing team.
Primary job responsibilities will include:
· Building and maintaining positive relationships with media
· Handling many e-mails each day
· Communicating with journalists on a daily basis, via telephone and e-mail, to secure media coverage for the company
· Facilitating and pitching key media information to journalists and relevant music industry professionals
· Monitoring media coverage
This is a telecommuting position - candidates will not be asked to relocate.
