Overview
Project Manager will act as a link between the clients and the agency, and be responsible for liaising between the client, partner agencies, vendors and media partners and internal agency teams to support assigned project(s) and all marketing related to project.
Project Manager will liaise closely with assigned clients and maintain day-to-day communication internally and externally. They will manage all administrative and campaign work, ensuring that the agency delivers on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope; Primary client contact
• Collaborate with client and/or internal teams to create and execute strategic and creative briefs, project work plans, creative presentations, status reports, timelines and budgets
• Work with the VP, Account Management to brief all partner agencies, internal creative and other staff as needed, and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies and deliverables
• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before delivering to Client; manage client approvals and deadlines
• Present, alongside agency colleagues, campaign ideas, creative work and budgets to client
• Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and external communications and enforces project standards
• Responsible for ensuring that all assets and resources are identified and available
• Ensure that projects complete according to schedule, meet and are within the defined scope, and are within budget
• Sets and manages client expectations
• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Undertake administration tasks with respective departments including Finance, Creative and Production (Event and Content)
• Schedule, attend and facilitate client status and project meetings; responsible for taking and distributing Client meeting notes
• Facilitates and leads planning and status meetings with internal and external teams as needed
• Oversees, directs and manages local marketing teams/brand ambassadors including regular written reports
Communication
• Keeps Project Team and V.P. Account Management well informed of changes
• Effective and timely communication relevant to project to V.P. Account Management
• Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations and written communication
• Resolves and/or escalates issues and risks in a timely fashion
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
• Facilitates internal and external meetings effectively; strong verbal skills
Teamwork
• Keeps track of key learnings and shares those lessons with team members
• Mitigates team conflict and communication problems

• Position requires someone that is a self-starter and requires minimum supervision and direction
• Proactive (as opposed to reactive)
• Must be comfortable working remotely
• Comfortable with organizing internal teams and clients in multiple locations (often conference calls)
• Must be able to hit the ground running and be comfortable doing so
• Must be comfortable with handling unexpected change; Adapts and thrives on ever-changing environments and unpredictable project scenarios and changes
• Possess great attitude, Team player with a positive/harmonious disposition
• 3-5 years account / client management experience (working with junior to senior level brand clients directly)
• Experiential and Events agency experience required (on Client/Account Management side)
• Must have a working knowledge and application of Event/Experiential timelines and budgets
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Superior business and negotiation skills
• Extensive industry contacts
• Must be able to travel; Typically for weekend events
• Candidates should be highly personable, ambitious & assertive
• Technology proficient
• Self-starter who is able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong organization and problem solving skills
• Superior attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must have a working knowledge of all Social Media platforms
• Stays up to speed on industry trends
• Experience working in the beer/spirits beverage category is a nice to have, but not mandatory.
