Details: GSN Santa Monica is looking for a Writer/Producer to join the On-Air Promotions department. Write and produce promos and sales reels for GSN programming, Ad Sales and affiliates. Must have ability to take spots to finish, including tagging, sweetening, versioning and final delivery. Must communicate with internal and external clients re: their needs and expectations and schedule/budget accordingly.

Requirements:

5 years experience writing and producing on-air promotion or movie trailers.

Must be able to communicate creative vision clearly to editors, mixers, VO actors and supervisors and have a intimate knowledge of production/post production process.
Ability to direct/produce a shoot in the field, team player, fresh thinker who uses original approaches to solve everyday challenges, both production-wise and creatively.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, familiarity with final cut pro, after effects and photo shop knowledge a plus, an innate sense of the uses of music to make a spot more effective, a comedic sensibility and schooled in the effective use of graphics.
