Position: Promo Scheduling Coordinator
Reporting to: Sr. Manager, On Air Scheduling & Strategy
Location: Santa Monica, CA
GSN Santa Monica is looking for a team player to join our On Air Promotions with strong attention to detail. The Promo Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling all On- Air promotional elements.
You will be responsible for… (not limited to):
•Scheduling all on-air promotion spots under direction of Senior Manager of On-Air Promotions
Ensuring spots are meeting deadlines and that there is clear communication between on-air promo and: network operations, creative, and program scheduling
Ensuring that all spots scheduled are correct and approved for air
•Data Entry
•Helping in the planning and scheduling of all On Air promotional elements (primary and secondary events)
•Creating tags and tune in information
•Working with promo producers to track progress of spots and campaigns
•Coordinating with Ad Sales and Marketing on any sponsored or barter initiatives
•Ensuring spots are meeting deadlines and that there is clear communication between on-air promotions and: network operations, creative, and program scheduling
•Ensuring that all spots scheduled are correct and approved for air
•Executing log changes due to inventory changes
•Hands-on coordination and revision of promo schedules based on direction and feedback from supervisors
•Knowledge of Grip it and Wide Orbit Network a preferred and a plus.

•Problem solver with the ability to flag potential problems and propose a course of action to resolve these issues in an efficient and speedy manner
•Ability to work efficiently and react quickly to change
•Ability to learn new software programs essential; Must be flexible
Education Qualifications:
Preferred: College Degree
Experience Qualifications:
Required Minimum: 2-3 years' experience working in a similar department and working in a broadcast network.
