Position: Community Manager
Reporting to: Chief Digital Officer, GSNTV
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Job Description: GSN is currently looking for a Manager of various social communities to join our Marketing department. This position will support GSN's original programming.
Your responsibilities will include… (but not be limited to):
• Creating and posting content on a daily basis and monitoring all GSN properties
• Listening and engaging with show followers, responsible for identifying real-time opportunities to interject in and amplify conversations
• Contributing creatively and delivering breakthrough content ideas that move the needle
• Driving insights, identifying identifying best-practices and formulating optimization strategies that work
• Monitoring latest industry trends and formulating strategies to maximize GSN's opportunity to leverage and be a 'first mover'
• Partnering with digital show leads, content strategist and creative teams to design and execute content
• Delivering key insights with smart, actionable next steps
• Works closely with analytics team to ensure synergy with overall marketing measurement strategies
• Developing and owns editorial calendar for shows
You must have…
• Willingness to embody our culture of being collaborative, a self-starter, competitive, passionate, bold, distinctive, innovative, creative and able to have fun!
• Proven ability to create strategic community management rollout plans to expand GSN's social footprint across various shows, as well as the GSN TV platforms
• Ability to work independently with smart decision-making/problem-solving skills and follow up with actionable outcomes
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering smart and engaging ideas
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
Education Qualifications:
Required: BA Degree
Experience Qualifications:
Required Minimum: 2-4 years of direct social marketing experience
Preferred: TV Network experience
