Position: Production Manager
Reporting to: VP, Production
Location: Santa Monica, CA
GSN is looking for a dynamic Production Manager reports to the Vice President of Production and works with the VP to oversee the day-to-day operations of projects, people and processes. Partnering with the staff producers, editors and designers as well as outside production companies and post-production teams to deliver marketing materials on schedule.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Daily Managing of new and ongoing projects by utilizing ON-AIR Pro, our production tracking system. This system distributes assignments and upcoming tasks to On-Air team throughout the promo creation process.
• Inputting new projects into production tracking system according to promotional campaigns, programming schedules and requests from other departments
• Assisting the team with updating information in ON-AIR Pro to ensure accurate workflow tracking of all projects
• Monitoring the status of all work orders and if necessary, adjust priority to ensure all assets are delivered to master control or the requestor in a timely manner
• Monitoring the current programming schedule. When the schedule changes, be able to communicate clearly and accurately what the desired tune-in messaging, deadlines, and priorities are
• QC'ing all assets (promos & graphics) prior to delivery
• Ensuring that all assets are delivered with the correct specs
• Requesting and managing clip pull requests from post-production facilities
• Managing multiple hard drives and distribute assets to vendors when needed
• Training new users on how to use the production tracking system
• Working closely with GSN IT and Development team to troubleshoot and modify the production tracking system, so that it is an efficient and useful tool for the entire department

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• The skills to be an expert communicator
• Self-motivation
• The ability to multi-task and shift priorities when needed
• The ability to troubleshoot software and take a proactive approach to problem-solving
• The ability to work as part of a team
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Media-related field
Experience:
Required: A minimum of 3 years production experience
