GRB Entertainment's Development Department is looking for a new post production guru. This person is a jack-of-all-trades - this position is a one-stop-shop for editing/finishing sizzle reels, graphic design for treatments, decks, and other company design needs, and is the technical support for the Development Department as a whole. We are looking for someone who is a team player, eager to learn, and is looking to hone their editorial and graphic design skills. You should be ready to take initiative, and comfortable making creative decisions independently.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
• Set up projects on Avid/Premiere/FCP and keep them organized
• Group/sync media
• Collaborate directly with the development team to create sizzle reels
• Handle the editing, graphics, and animation for sizzle tapes
• String out scenes/interviews and log footage
• Responsible for troubleshooting technical difficulties
• Collaborate directly with the development team to create graphic design for treatments and sales decks
• Keep media organized, backed up, and archived
• Keep all editing computers up-to-date on software
• Manage company Vimeo account, links, uploads, etc.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Technically proficient in Avid and Premiere, Final Cut a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud - most specifically Photoshop and InDesign
• Knowledge of LTO a plus
• Comfortable in Mac OS, Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of television production, post-production, and graphics workflows
• Strong creative instincts and direction, as well as a commitment to quality and precision
• Able to take initiative and comfortable making creative decisions independently
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Film and Media Production or some area of film
• Minimum 1-2 years experience working in post production in some capacity
