Full Time Job
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement strategies for creating relationships with social media and digital influencers in the entertainment industry. This includes, but is not limited to actors, bloggers, producers, writers, agents, managers, directors, network executives, etc.
• Understand where product placement opportunities exist in the digital & social realm, and ability to create a product placement strategy as it applies to brand goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with product placement team to recognize new areas of opportunity and ways to expand upon existing relationships with producers and talent in the online world.
• Work with the events team to identify and support third party events that focus on celebrating emerging talent.
• Attend relevant industry related events and social networking to help expand upon existing network, increase knowledge about online areas of opportunity and stay on top of all social media trends.
• Scan digital content for product placement and document the results.
• Oversee and schedule personalized brand outreach.
• Collaborate on projects such as internal quarterly sizzle reels and newsletter content.
• Create and manage project-related budgets and maintain fiscal accountability for all programs.
An ideal candidate should have:
• Minimum 2-3 years in a digital/talent agency or entertainment marketing experience, specializing in digital marketing.
• Knowledge of YouTube, digital entertainment and social media influencers, as well as knowledge of the Entertainment industry.
• An understanding of, and ability to articulate, how different social/streaming platforms can advance our marketing strategies.
• Strong ability to network within the new media industry and maintain relationships.
• Possess the aptitude to know when to take risks to push team to the next level.
• Experience with client development and strategy .
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Understanding of how to work with brands and the new media world.
• High proficiency in the complete Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and excellent understanding of utilizing online and network-based tools for research purposes.
• Ability to handle yourself professionally under pressure.
