We are a media company, a production company and a tech company all rolled into one, and we're looking for an experienced Assistant to our Head of Legal and Business Affairs to join our team in West Hollywood. This is a unique opportunity for someone wishing to learn about digital, ad/sales, branded entertainment, commercial, television, and motion picture deal-making.
This person will provide administrative support to Head of Legal and Business Affairs as well as periodically supporting the CFO/COO in an administrative capacity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Drafting and reviewing business affairs correspondence, maintaining legal files and databases, option calendars, researching guild issues, preparing deal summaries and scheduling meetings and calls.
-Send and manage drafts, memos and other documents and correspondence as appropriate
-Work on special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
-Schedule supervisors' appointments, maintain and updates supervisors' daily calendar; Arrange travel itineraries and prepare travel and expense reports; Schedule, organize and coordinate internal and external meetings
-Perform other administrative duties and support day to day operations
REQUIREMENTS:
-A minimum of one years of executive administrative experience within a fast paced entertainment or media company
-Quick learner; Ability to read and interpret legal contracts
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
-JD degree and admission to CA state bar OK
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Ability to apply a significant level of discretion due to exposure to confidential information
-Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
-Positive attitude, and willingness to learn
-Well-organized, detail-oriented and highly-motivated
-Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
-Ability to multi-task and work as an integral member of a dynamic work environment
-Desire to be a team player and work with many different departments and levels of employees
