TALENT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
We are looking for a bright, motivated Talent Development Coordinator with a competitive drive and passion for digital media who will be responsible for identifying social media influencers and growing their audience across YouTube, Vine, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
The ideal candidate will have a competitive spirit, passion for and knowledge of YouTube, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations. Prior experience in talent management, operations, acquisition and retention to fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization is ideal.
To be successful in this role you must be passionate about what you do, comfortable with long hours, and ready for constant communication with Talent. You should be excited by the idea of a fast-paced environment on the cutting edge of the entertainment industry.
Most importantly we're looking for positive, optimistic individuals who don't take no for an answer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scouting, signing, and managing digital creators and influencers
Social media audience growth and development across platforms
YouTube optimization and performance analysis including titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails, annotations, post frequency, etc.
Recommend and implement video SEO and YouTube best practices for new content uploads
Create and implement data driven content and programming strategy recommendations
Develop an understanding of online video monetization trends and optimization techniques
Heavy multi-tasking and research responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 1-2 years experience in the entertainment industry
Communications and/or Media Studies majors preferred
Expertise and interest in the YouTube and digital video space
Vertical expertise/interest in at least one category: Fashion/Beauty, Music, Gaming, Personalities/Family, Formats, Fitness, Science/Education, Tech
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work productively with a variety of people
Comfortable handling professional communication across phone, email, Skype and text message
Demonstrated ability to think outside of the box to identify and implement innovative approaches
Well-organized, highly self-motivated, and extremely positive individual
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, research skills required
