We are looking for an experienced mobile marketer who will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention as we grow a new consumer-facing venture at our company. This role will work closely with our marketing, product, content, strategy, and business intelligence teams to define, lead, and develop a seamless multichannel customer communications program. This individual will also oversee mobile campaign execution and optimization, identify and manage relevant vendors, and define the tools and processes we implement. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, and digital entertainment and the world of social media influencers. The candidate would also have a proven track record of related experience to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and manage all aspects of mobile campaigns including monitoring and assessing performance, assisting in strategic analysis of campaign performance, testing targets, creative, copy, media types, etc
Drive mobile growth by setting goals and partnering closely with various activation channels
Lead market assessment to identify new advertising opportunities through structured analysis, competitive analysis, and capturing and distilling qualitative feedback from marketers
Conduct daily program optimizations and performance analysis against campaign goals
Provide recommendations to improve strategies, tactics, visibility, and increase conversions
Proactively implement test initiatives such as landing page A/B testing, multivariate testing, offer testing and conduct post mortem campaign analysis, findings and next steps
Partner with Brand, Content, Social and Mobile Strategy teams to develop and optimize user acquisition and brand strategies to drive subscriber growth and brand awareness within the mobile platform
Work with all media managers and channel owners to align mobile media plans with digital and offline plans
Drive forward unique creative visions, working closely with Marketing to execute on creative strategies to attract new users
Create thoughtful recommendations of new tactics that are backed by data and can elevate performance against our KPIs
Share mobile insights with senior team including best practices and competitive analysis
Stay informed with respect to industry, direct competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years experience in Mobile, Display, SEM, & Facebook advertising
Demonstrated ability using a variety of mobile tools, such as Localytics, Ampush, Google Analytics, MixPanel, and AppsFlyer to track, test, and measure the effectiveness of spend
Experience with managing agencies and budgets
Strong analytical skills (Excel) and experience working in metrics based companies
Passion for problem solving: you must be able to tackle new, unfamiliar, and possibly daunting problems - to break them down into manageable bits and solve them
Undergraduate degree in marketing or quantitative field
Proven ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams and influence others
Experience in a roll-up-your-sleeves environment
Detail-orientated and exceptional organizational skills
A high sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task
Inherently collaborative nature and ability to build strong relationships and motivate individuals at all levels of an organization
