Full Sail University is now accepting applications for Course Director, Music Business Law and Contract Negotiations, in its Music Business Bachelor of Science degree program. This full-time position will be available in April 2010.
Full Sail is a media arts college located in Orlando, Florida that trains students for careers in the entertainment media industry. Degree programs include Music Business, Entertainment Business, Film, Game Development, Computer Animation, Digital Arts and Design, Internet Marketing, Web Design and Development, Recording Arts, and Show Production.
The Course Director will develop curriculum and teach the Music Business Law and Contract Negotiations course. The Course Director will report to the Program Director of the Music Business Bachelor of Science degree program. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Course Director will meet with and mentor students, attend faculty development workshops, and participate in campus activities including meetings and special events.
Job requirements include a MA/MS or higher; Juris Doctorate preferred. The successful candidate must ensure excellence of personal service to students, maintain office hours for consultation, and communicate with students to settle inquiries relating to the course. Also sought, but not required, is teaching experience and experience in an entertainment and/or media field.
This position is full time, on campus.
