Fulcrum Labs is seeking a smart, energetic, creative and team-focused digital producer to join our content team. The video producer will lead a small team of animators, editors and associate producers to create training videos.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, collaborative and has a team-first attitude. This person is a strong visual communicator who understands digital video production, post-production and animation processes. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented and deadline-focused with strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills and ability to take direction.
The video producer is responsible for directing talent on-set and in VO, working with animators to produce high amounts of graphics and working with editors to create engaging training videos. This is a client facing role and the producer will interact with clients, manage schedules and communicate project health to various stakeholders.
This is a freelance (1099) position for a project that starts in June and lasts until November/December.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team that shoots and edits instructional training videos
- Produce creative multimedia training content for client projects
- Contribute to all stages of the creative process -- including conceptualization, casting, production, shooting, and editing
- Direct on-screen and voiceover talent
- Use photography, animation, text and motion graphics and other creative techniques to fully engage the audience
- Ensure delivery of the best product possible by efficient, cost-effective, and timely production of all project elements
- Build and update project goals, budget, and schedule
- Create project briefs, content plans, RFPs, wireframes, and production schedules
- Hire and manage freelance production staff as needed (source talent, run casting sessions, create style guides and prototypes.)
- Facilitate aggressive timelines: proactively solve problems and address bottlenecks
