Search for Sales Assistant Latin America, US Hisp & Caribbean jobs in Miami-FL
FremantleMedia International Distribution, based in Miami, manages sales and distribution of all Fremantlemedia Productions and third party content throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and the US Hispanic market; and negotiates all format sales and licensing activities in non-production territories across the LatAm region. The LatAm FMI team shares offices with Fremantle Media Latin America's Miami production team and works closely with their staff, as well as the production staff in Mexico and Brazil, to support their efforts and achievements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to EVP, Content Distribution & Format Sales, and provides administrative support to EVP and Sales Manager (FremantleMedia International).
• Coordinate a very busy schedule
• Set routine calls/meetings and coordinate all logistics for client screenings on and off site
• Manage convention attendance/meetings & agenda/travel arrangements/sales book/expense reports
• Assist in follow up after all conventions and client screenings
• Input and process deal memos, manage documentation of all sales, liaise with legal division in London from start to finish
• Manage, monitor and maintain all logs pertaining to sales activities and legal documents
• Become adept in managing and navigating company DPS (rights management & sales system) and be able to process information, create sales reports, research rights, and update client information efficiently and as required
• Constantly manage and monitor contact database - read trades and update as requested
• Manage materials and all technical issues liaising between LA/UK and clients
• Manage all incoming/outgoing materials, including maintenance of all sent logs
• Manage and maintain producer updates
• Work with various FMI departments to coordinate sales elements including screening materials, links to be sent to clients, trailers, promotional assets; collate and/or create marketing materials, relevant ratings data, press information, etc.
• Manage client access to FM Screenings.com and troubleshoot as needed
• Coordinate all logistics with dubbing of materials from start to finish and maintain logs of all dubbed content
• Research and track client activities/programming schedules as requested
• Track evolving new media in the marketplace for potential new outlets/clients as requested
• Screen FM content research rights, content history and similar properties currently on-air in the US Hispanic market & Latin America
• Provide format sales support to include the following:
o Manage in-house DVD library of LatAm series and distribution of same to WWE executives based in London and FMP as needed
o Liaise with London office to coordinate consultancies and conference calls between clients and flying producers
o Track production schedules and flying producer schedules
o Track ratings of all formats working with FM research department and distribute to all pertinent parties
o Track competition and trends in the region
o Track ancillary exploitation on smaller formats (involves screening of episodes and reaching out to clients)
o Manage/download links for new FM formats/international versions to be shared with clients

- Must have strong organizational skills, be a quick thinker, and have the ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail
- Must have understanding of, and ability to interpret, legal contracts and terminology
- Must have understanding of, or be willing to learn, new media rights and platforms
- Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple commercial agreements and adapt to changing deadlines and changing environments
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish with strong Spanish-language writing skills.
