Frederator Networks is currently seeking freelance editors to assist in creating listicle videos for our YouTube channels. Our YouTube channels, Channel Frederator, The Leaderboard Network, Cinematica, and more, release upwards of 20 videos a week and we rely on an expansive pool of freelance editors and researchers to create this content. We are currently looking to expand this pool.
Editors are expected to trim audio and provide a first pass at video edit for all of our projects. All editors work remotely on their own equipment. They are required to work in Adobe Premier and be able to sync large files from their location. Project expectations include:
- Trimming and assembling voiceover audio (some videos may include on-screen talent, not just audio)
- Placing provided text templates on-screen
- Collecting on-screen assets to pair with voiceover
- Editors may receive revisionary notes that are expected to be implemented in a timely fashion
Projects generally have a one-week turnaround period and compensation can range form $300/video (for shorter 7-10 min videos) to $700/video (16-25 min video). Reliable editors tend to receive greater responsibility and more creative freedom on new projects, so this is a great first step into a relationship with a company that is constantly developing more and new content.
Candidates who we will want to proceed with will be asked to complete a very short sample edit in order to familiarize you with our project workflow. This is a not compensated test and it is designed to be a quick project in under 2 hours. Everyone edits the same material that we've set up as a test and we do not ever re-use or publish that material. To see sample videos, please search ''Channel Frederator'' on YouTube.
