Artist/Animator

This is a Full Time Job

RESPONSIBILITIES: Experienced 2D or 3D graphic animator needed for in-house unit to help fulfill graphic demands for some Fox owned-and-operated TV stations. Qualified candidate will conceptualize, design and create graphics and animations for news, sales, programming, promotion and web support. Other related duties as deemed appropriate and assigned.


REQUIREMENTS: Experience with the Mac platform is preferred although a strong aptitude with software trumps the platform. Candidates must have 2 to 3 years experience as a 2D or 3D animator. Should be proficient with one or more of the following software programs: Maxon Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, Final Cut Studio 2, NewTek Lightwave, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/After Effects, Maxon Bodypaint, Zaxworks 3D Invigorator. Experience with the following web applications is a plus: Adove Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. Must have strong design skills and judgment and must be able to generate a project from concept to completion or work in concert with others. Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to successfully work in a team environment with a positive attitude and professional work ethic. Should be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and to prioritize under tight deadlines. Expected to be flexible and able to work all hours and shifts as well as being punctual respective to assigned scheduling. A degree in design is preferred, although range and scope of portfolio or work experience may equate.
