Lead Fox Consumer Products Globally as a key competitor in the lifestyle merchandising market by developing licensing strategy & action plans to deliver compelling product in support of the global brand plans, to hit or exceed the P&L targets for the world.
Key Responsibilities
· Leads and develops the sales strategy for the softlines sales. Aggressively identifies category gaps and signs / develops licensees to drive and close gaps
· Fully responsible for all aspects of the P&L
· Drives & closes major revenue based deals / partnerships
· Drives senior level retail and category relationships in conjunction with Strategic Marketing.
· Fully responsible for leading, motivating & organizing team of category experts. Heavy focus on driving operational speed / deal closure
· Develops new or elevates existing partnerships into longer term, strategic deals that have a significant P&L impact
· Develops & executes retail specific merchandise strategies
· Drives & communicates business vision internally & externally
· Managing internal stakeholders - developing trusted & powerful relationships throughout the organization: being an advocate and the voice of change to improve the business
· Key global team player: key role in the leadership of the global organization.
· Bachelor's degree
· At least 7 years of experience of licensing business, with profit and loss responsibility.
· Significant experience in managing people and teams
· Solid experience in Consumer Products, Marketing, Retail / Buying. Deal intensive background.
· Deep understanding of core categories in soft goods.
· Demonstrated ability to grow major categories in spite of obstacles.
· Retail development experience is helpful
· The ability to be both visionary and strategic in thinking as well as tactical in executing strategies
· Must be able to drive key trusting relationships at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed organization.
· Must be a strong sales person and influencer of people
