Full Time Job
The Fox Sports Music department is looking for a Music Administrator to handle the administration of music cue sheets and various databases and software programs used by the department.
This is a temporary freelance position for up to 6 months, and is not eligible for benefits.
Responsibilities
• Prepare, process, track, submit and audit music cue sheets. Provide internal and external reporting on missing and submitted cue sheets. Input music use data within various database systems.
• Integration, training and maintenance of various databases and software programs used by the music department to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Assist with research and music clearance.
• Assist with various music projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Four year degree preferred.
• Prior data entry or internship experience in an office environment required. Prior music cue sheet and music database experience preferred. Prior experience in cable/broadcast television setting strongly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft applications and general database skills required.
• Must be able to handle a heavy volume of data entry with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be a highly organized self-starter with a can-do attitude, and excellent follow-through skills.
• Must be customer service-oriented and a team player.
• Must be able to thrive in an environment with constant noise and interruptions, multi-tasking and meeting multiple deadlines with ease.
• Must be interested in developing and growing in music and copyright licensing knowledge.
