Full Time Job
The Sr. Producer of Social Media (Content/Editorial) will be the main social media contact for the News team and information regarding social trending, social optimization of content, etc. The role will manage and drive growth for paid social media efforts, main Twitter account, membership and Facebook video and lead social ambassador and influencer program across all of National Geographic.
Responsibilities:
• Primary News lead for social media
• Manage paid social media campaigns (traffic, membership, etc.)
• Manage main @natgeo Twitter account
• Grow new social media products like Facebook Video
• Drive social ambassador program across all Nat Geo
• Pull analytics when necessary and stay up to date on competitive landscape, industry trends, best practices, etc.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Understand basics on budgeting
• PC/Mac, Microsoft Office, etc.
