FX Networks is seeking a Production Coordinator to track and coordinate information, paperwork, resources, events and production employees between the individual television productions and the FX Production department, as well as other departments (e.g., development, promotion, marketing, etc.)
Responsibilities
• Coordinate with other departments to provide information and materials such as show masters, press materials, production schedules, and location of production shoots.
• Track production information and paperwork, including filing production department paperwork (i.e., call sheets, production reports, budgets, cost reports, credits, distribution lists, business correspondence, etc.), and maintaining an updated and accurate resume file for potential production employees.
• Maintain DVD library for shows and distribute the materials as needed. Watch and convey material's content, create and maintain master tape library, and work with other departments that distribute this material.
• Conduct research for SVP and VPs of production.
• Set meetings for FX division and the productions.
• Arrange travel and payments for visiting talent and production personnel.
Qualifications:
• Four year college degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience working on a television set and in a production office required. Experience working in a corporate office environment in an entertainment and television related company preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required, and the ability to communicate precise information to and from multiple sources.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must have experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and some budgeting and scheduling knowledge.
• Must be able to multi-task while dealing with many different and sometime conflicting needs and priorities. Must be able to follow-up on tasks and information with precise accuracy and speed.
• Ability to meet people and make connections while instilling confidence and reliability required.
