Full Time Job
Fox Networks Group is looking for a Production Coordinator who is a self-starter and works well under pressure to support our expanding production team and support the VP of Production.
Responsibilities
• Manage invoice and freelance staff databases; keep records of freelancers and follow their schedules and paper work; recruit personnel for various production needs, including locating and staffing crews domestically and internationally
• Conduct development research, help organize script notes, and track changes
• Communicate consistently with creative and production team; disseminate information to crew and staff; provide a weekly report of task completion and costs
• Track incoming show footage, trailers and press cuts; select and pull show clips for various meetings
• Maintain digital libraries, make dubs and upload videos as necessary; export, transcode, and upload videos to Vimeo and FTP; organize and perform LTO tape backups
• Manage expenses and coordinate travel
• Oversee intern hiring and supervision
• Manage and maintain files on the department's server system and fiber network.
• Assisting on-site editors: locating files, laying in audio and VFX passes into projects, color conforms and overseeing exports
• Edit various sizzle reels and short-form/web content
Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in production and post production coordination (office or set) at a well regarded network or cable network or digital production company (or equivalent)?
• Ability to work late hours and weekends when necessary
• Proficient in Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling
• Working knowledge of Apple computer systems and programs
• IT troubleshooting prowess, and proficiency in Final Cut Pro 7 and Photoshop are a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must be detailed orientated and highly organized, and able to deal with changing priorities in a busy environment
• Experience with releases, call sheets, production bibles, vendors and wrap binders
• Knowledge of post-production workflow is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong writing skills are also essential for this position
• Detailed-oriented, proactive, self-motivated and have an interest and passion for New Media TV, Feature, Branded Content, and Pop Culture, as well as a great sense of humor
• Knowledge of TV industry a plus
• Quick learner and team player, who thrives in a fast-paced working environment
• Ability to build relationships with internal employees as well as external clients is a must
• Professionalism and great customer service are a must, along with the ability to interface with creative executives, agents, producers and talent on a regular basis
