The Manager of Product Planning and Marketing for National Geographic Partners is an integral part of a fast-paced team managing the global partnerships responsible for the production, sales, marketing and distribution of National Geographic's home entertainment products. A successful candidate will support global sales strategies by overseeing the day-to-day workflow for distribution partners, enforcing quality and brand standards and collaborating cross-divisionally to support home entertainment releases.
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day production scheduling and workflows including tracking program production, broadcast dates, rights and clearances information; fulfilling partner materials requests; providing key metadata for new releases.
• Ensure on-time delivery of assets, and key data to distribution partners.
• Review promotional materials; approve assets and packaging creative.
• Ensure that products and promotions adhere to high quality and brand standards.
• Compile and communicate key selling points and marketing support information for sales guides and maintain home entertainment product catalog.
• Support sales efforts by providing key marketing and positioning data for home entertainment releases.
• Communicate key release information cross-divisionally and secure and track internal merchandising and promotional support for home entertainment releases.

Qualifications:
• College degree required.
• Must have a minimum 2-4 years related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills required. Multiple languages a plus.
• Proficient with developing spreadsheets in Excel, and proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Must have a collaborative working style and excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills; self-direction with the ability to multitask and effectively manage priorities.

National Geographic Partners LLC, a joint venture between National Geographic Society and 21st Century Fox, combines National Geographic television channels with National Geographic's media and consumer-oriented assets, including National Geographic magazines; National Geographic Studios; related digital and social media platforms; books; maps; children's media; and ancillary activities that include travel, location-based entertainment, archival sales, catalog, licensing and e-commerce businesses. A portion of the proceeds from National Geographic Partners LLC will be used to fund science, exploration, conservation and education through significant ongoing contributions to the work of the National Geographic Society.
