Full Time Job
The Highlights Coordinator gathers & catalogues all highlight footage; shoot material, and media used in the execution of On Air Promotional Campaigns in our Charlotte, NC facility. This includes, collecting and maintaining video records of sports game footage from the various network partners. Ensures organization of the Promo Department's internal footage library.
Responsibilities
• Must coordinate getting all of the footage/media used in promo spots, sales reels, and campaigns for FOX Sports Promos Charlotte in house and into the bays. This includes, collecting and maintaining video records of sports game footage from the various networks, but also special requests from Stock Footage libraries, Films or online entities such as Getty Images, AP, Shutterstock and more. Field and prioritize footage requests from Charlotte creative/producers and work closely with Los Angeles highlights group as needed to facilitate those requests.
• Work with Charlotte operations/engineering group to ensure footage is kept available and organized for Fox Sports Promo editors in Charlotte and properly archived.
• Work with LA highlights group to develop seamless process to ensure footage is available for both Charlotte and Los Angeles.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Broadcast television, marketing, or advertising.
• Minimum 1 years experience in Broadcast television, cable or production/design company.
• The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints in a high pressure environment is also required. A general knowledge of sports is necessary.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail are needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Explorer is required.
