The Guest Experience Coordinator will assist the Operations and Guest Experience team in ensuring that National Geographic Expeditions travelers receive a high level of customer service and a consistently high quality experience. The primary responsibilities of the Coordinator are to manage the post-trip evaluation process, oversee the ordering and dispersal of pre-trip supplies and materials, and to provide excellent customer service to travelers through a number of administrative tasks. The Coordinator may also assist the team on a variety of department-wide projects or ongoing-tasks to serve travelers.
Responsibilities
• Oversee aspects of the post-trip evaluation process including the creation and deployment of electronic evaluations and coordinate with multiple parties to ensure timely and accurate distribution of evaluations.
• Coordinate the ordering and delivery of National Geographic pre-trip supplies - including books, maps, magazines, document holders, luggage tags, water bottles, etc.
• Perform a number of administrative duties, including creating/sending Lifelong Explorer loyalty program welcome letters, preparing gift or credit certificates, processing customer service response letters, managing the Guest Experience inquiries email inbox, updating address information into the reservations database, and distributing reports.
• Assist the Operations and Guest Experience team as needed with a variety of department-wide projects or ongoing-tasks that support a consistently high quality traveler experience across all travel programs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Should have a demonstrated interest in travel and exploration and an appreciation for cultural awareness and exchange. Ability to multi-task and handle a myriad of details simultaneously. Must be very detail-oriented, skilled at follow-through, and able to create/maintain accurate operational and procedural documents under tight deadlines.
