Graphic Designer (Motion)
The Big Ten Network is searching for a Graphic Designer with motion graphics experience to join their team in Chicago. The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing graphic elements for remote truck, MICR, and studio production. They are also responsible for creation and design of new VizRT templates and scenes for remote truck, MICR, and studio concepts - included are creating new templates for studio automation, show and event animation packages, and other duties determined by the Art Director Designer and Executive Producer. Other duties include creating elements for Ad Sales, Marketing, New Media, and Promotions.

Responsibilities
• Designs graphic elements for Remote Truck, MICR, and Studio Production.
• Creates logos and elements for Ad Sales, New Media, and Production.
• Assists on air promotions in implementing graphic elements.
Qualifications:
• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts or related are is strongly preferred
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience in graphic design in television production is necessary
• Good organizational and project coordination skills are necessary
• Previous experience with broadcast design is needed
• Knowledge of MAC graphic software (Adobe Suite, Cinema 4D or similar 3D) is essential.
• Experience with 3D graphics is preferred
• Experience with broadcast graphic systems, particularly VizRT is preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary
• A proven ability to multitask and perform well under strict deadlines is required
• Familiarity with production equipment and the ability to work flexible hours is needed.
