Description of Department: Media Management coordinates and maintains the flow of media for FOX Sports. Ingest, Archive, Restore, Export and Storage monitoring.
Intern Job Duties:
• Placeholder Creation for next day's records.
• Includes using proper documents and being up to date with current placeholder workflow (FS1/FS2 Programming Grid, PH Google Doc, Tech Sheet, Rout Sheet, etc)
• Input Metadata
• Apply in-depth metadata to files to improve search and asset location for production.
• Clearing Triage
• Moving files from Triage to their appropriate folder in the Library
• Dalet Audit of assets from previous day
• Includes clipping down files that will be saved to Library
• Clipping Melts/Pressers for specific Sports Workflows
• Locating footage for Production
• Frame IO Requests
• INews Updates
• Monitoring emails and phone calls for Client Requests/Questions
• Includes but not limited to: Moving Files, Restores, Locating Files, Workflow Questions
Learning Objectives: In support of FOX Sports production from the NFL to The Herd, learn how naming, metadata and workflows create an efficient digital footage library for all of FOX Sports.
Qualifications:
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
